What makes a strong JSC partner?
Any Jewish non-profit that owns its building or land is eligible to become a partner and receive a grant for a solar project. To enhance your institution's chance of being selected this year, consider the following tips:

Begin securing proposals for your project as soon as possible. We prioritize organizations that are "shovel ready." Having a selection of quotes from reputable providers not only strengthens your application but is crucial for expedited consideration.

We seek partners who are committed to broadening their sustainability efforts beyond just solar energy. Our current partners are actively engaged in various initiatives that enhance their overall environmental impact.

The “Challenge” in the Jewish Solar Challenge extends beyond transitioning Jewish institutions to solar energy. Our vision is for all institutions to embrace solar and actively reduce their energy footprints.

Engaging your community in the solar project or other sustainability initiatives is an excellent way to inspire and facilitate widespread change.
